A delicious, organic, culinary grade matcha meticulously crafted and packed at origin. It is made of single cultivar (Hadong native) tea trees, shaded using the ‘kabuse’ method and harvested in late May to early June. We find that this matcha offers outstanding value for money compared to matcha from other origins (of similar price).
Origin & History:
This matcha is grown on the hills of Hadong, on the southernmost part of the Korean Peninsula. This area has a history of growing tea since the 9th century (i.e. ~ 3 hundred years before Eisai popularized tea in Japan). It is the cradle of Korean tea culture.
Toss 1 tsp (2g) of matcha in your favourite latte or smoothie.
