About
This matcha is harvested and produced from spring buds and tender young tea leaves. Our matcha tea plants are grown in partial sunlight (i.e. they are covered with a canopy) for a few weeks each spring, which boosts the amount of chlorophyll in the leaves, thereby increasing the concentration of anti-oxidants.
After harvest, the tea is meticulously ground into very fine particles and shipped to Two Hills, where we keep it in a temperature-controlled room for optimal quality and freshness!

Organic Fermented Spiced Chai
Some traditions endure for centuries because they offer something simple and lasting.
Comfort.
Organic Fermented Spiced Chai brings together the rich heritage of fermented tea with the timeless warmth of chai spices, creating a cup that feels both grounding and deeply satisfying. Smooth, mellow, and gently spiced, it offers a flavour profile unlike traditional chai—less sharp, more rounded, with layers of woodsy depth and natural sweetness.
The first sip is warm and inviting. Earthy fermented tea lays the foundation, while aromatic spices weave through the cup, adding gentle warmth and complexity without overwhelming the palate.
It is the kind of tea that settles you.
The kind that makes you slow down.
And the kind that quickly becomes part of a daily ritual.
Origin & Tradition
Fermented tea has been enjoyed across Eastern cultures for centuries, valued not only for its distinctive flavor but also for its traditional role in everyday life.
Long before fermented foods became popular in Western kitchens, cultures throughout Asia were embracing fermentation as a natural way to develop flavour, preserve foods, and create deeply satisfying beverages.
Today, foods such as yogurt, kefir, kombucha, tempeh, and fermented vegetables have introduced many people to the appeal of fermentation.
This tea continues that tradition through one of tea's oldest and most fascinating styles.
The result is a tea that feels timeless—rooted in history yet perfectly suited to modern routines.
How It Is Made
At the heart of this blend is organic fermented dark tea (Camellia sinensis).
Unlike green or black tea, fermented teas undergo an additional transformation that develops their smooth body, earthy depth, and mellow character. Over time, the leaves become softer, rounder, and less astringent, creating a tea with remarkable balance.
Carefully selected spices are then blended with the tea, adding warmth and aromatic complexity while allowing the fermented tea's character to remain the star of the cup.
The combination creates a tea that feels rich yet approachable, with layers of flavour that continue to unfold as it cools.

- Boosting immunity
- Promoting healthy liver function.

Made from 100% micro-milled butterfly pea flowers and generously scented with exceptional cold-pressed bergamot oil from Calabria, Italy, this tea offers the bright citrus elegance of Earl Grey with an unexpected, vibrant blue infusion.

Almost.
This is Earl Grey reimagined with colour, creativity, and pure joy in every cup.
What Is Blue Matcha?
Despite the name, Blue Matcha is not traditional green matcha.
Traditional matcha is made from finely stone-ground green tea leaves known as tencha. Blue Matcha, however, is created from 100% micro-milled butterfly pea flowers, producing an ultra-fine, whiskable powder with a naturally brilliant blue colour.
The result is a vibrant botanical tea that looks like matcha, whisks like matcha, and creates a rich, smooth cup—but without caffeine or the grassy flavour of green tea.
It is bright, floral, naturally calming, and wonderfully unique.
Origin
This blend begins with premium butterfly pea flowers, carefully micro-milled into a smooth, vivid blue powder that dissolves beautifully into water for a silky, visually striking cup.
To elevate the experience, it is generously scented with exceptional bergamot oil sourced from Calabria, Italy, one of the world’s most celebrated regions for producing high-quality bergamot.
Cold-pressed into what can only be described as liquid gold, this bergamot oil brings bright citrus sparkle, floral elegance, and a truly luxurious aromatic finish.
The final blend is thoughtfully crafted in Richmond, BC, ensuring freshness, consistency, and the perfect balance of vibrant colour and fragrant citrus character.
The result is a tea that feels both playful and refined.
How It Is Made
Butterfly pea flowers are carefully harvested, dried, and finely micro-milled into an ultra-smooth powder that can be whisked just like traditional matcha.
This fine texture allows the tea to blend evenly into water, creating a rich blue infusion with a soft, velvety body and beautiful presentation.
The powder is then blended in Richmond, BC, with premium cold-pressed bergamot oil from Calabria, Italy. This fragrant citrus oil adds to the unmistakable bright, sunny aroma of classic Earl Grey while enhancing the floral softness of butterfly pea flower.
Unlike artificial flavoured teas, this blend focuses on freshness, aroma, and natural beauty—creating a cup that is as enjoyable to prepare as it is to drink.

Origin & History
Wu Lu (霧綠), often translated as Emerald Cloud or Jade Cloud, is a traditional name for high-quality pan-fired green teas in China.
This tea is sourced from Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) in southern Anhui Province, one of China's most celebrated tea-growing regions. Famous for its dramatic peaks, rolling clouds, and cool mountain climate, Huang Shan has inspired poets, artists, and tea masters for centuries.
The tea garden where this batch is grown sits within a landscape that remains lush, misty, and remarkably green throughout much of the growing season. These conditions allow the leaves to develop slowly, creating greater sweetness, balance, and aromatic complexity.
The result is a tea that beautifully reflects its environment—fresh, vibrant, and naturally elegant.
How It Is Made
Organic Emerald Cloud is crafted using traditional pan-firing techniques, a method used in China for generations to preserve freshness and prevent oxidation.
Shortly after harvest, the leaves are gently heated in large pans, locking in their vibrant colour and delicate flavour while preserving their natural sweetness.
This careful process creates a tea with exceptional clarity, allowing the subtle nutty notes, fresh vegetal character, and smooth texture to shine through.
The leaves remain beautifully intact, unfolding gracefully during brewing and revealing new layers of flavour with every infusion.

Organic Jasmine Dragon Pearls Tea
Some teas are made to wake you up.
Others are made to slow the world down.
Organic Jasmine Dragon Pearls belong to the second kind.
Elegant, fragrant, and beautifully handcrafted, this traditional Chinese jasmine pearl green tea offers more than flavour—it offers ritual. Each small pearl is carefully rolled by hand, holding within it the softness of spring green tea and the delicate perfume of late-summer jasmine blossoms.
Sourced from Guangxi, China, a region celebrated for producing some of the world’s most fragrant jasmine flowers, this tea is known for its smooth body, calming floral aroma, and the quiet beauty of watching each pearl slowly unfurl in your cup.
It is not rushed tea.
It is tea made with patience.
And you can taste that.
Origin
This tea begins in Guangxi, China, one of the most respected jasmine-growing regions in the world, and a place long admired for producing exceptionally fragrant jasmine blossoms.
The warm climate, fertile soil, and ideal growing conditions create the perfect environment for jasmine flowers with remarkable sweetness and floral clarity.
At the heart of this tea are carefully selected organic early spring green tea leaves, chosen for their tenderness, freshness, and naturally soft vegetal sweetness.
Guangxi is not only where this tea is made—it is what gives Jasmine Dragon Pearls their signature elegance.
The tea reflects the region: gentle, fragrant, and deeply refined.
How It Is Made
True Jasmine Dragon Pearls are not flavoured—they are scented.
First, the early spring green tea leaves are lightly steamed to prevent oxidation and preserve their bright, fresh character.
They are then gently hand-rolled into delicate pearls, helping protect the leaves while preserving aroma and freshness during storage.
These pearls are carefully stored until late summer, when fresh jasmine blossoms reach peak bloom.
Then comes the most important step.
Fresh jasmine flowers are layered with the tea overnight, allowing their natural floral fragrance to infuse the leaves slowly. This process is repeated several times until the tea artisan achieves the perfect balance of aroma and flavour.
No artificial oils. No shortcuts.
Only time, flowers, and craftsmanship.
That is what makes real jasmine tea unforgettable.

Organic Iron Goddess of Mercy (Tieguanyin Oolong Tea)
Some teas comfort the body.
Others seem to quiet the mind.
Organic Tieguanyin—also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy—is one of those rare teas that does both.
Lightly oxidized and beautifully expressive, this traditional Chinese oolong unfolds with soft floral notes, the freshness of poached leafy greens, and a smooth buttery finish that lingers gently on the palate. Elegant without fragility, complex without heaviness, it offers a tea experience that feels calming, refined, and quietly unforgettable.
This batch follows a more modern style of Tieguanyin—lighter in oxidation, brighter in character, and more floral in expression than the darker charcoal-roasted versions traditionally found in Fujian.
The result is a tea that feels alive.
Fresh mountain air in liquid form.
Origin & History
Tieguanyin (鐵觀音), meaning Iron Goddess of Mercy, is one of the most celebrated oolong teas in China and has deep roots in the tea traditions of Southern Fujian Province.
Its name comes from Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion in Chinese Buddhism.
According to legend, a poor farmer devoted himself to caring for a neglected temple of Guanyin. Every day, he swept the floors and tended the shrine, asking for nothing in return. One night, Guanyin appeared to him in a dream and guided him to a hidden treasure—a single tea shoot.
The farmer cultivated it.
And the world came to know Tieguanyin.
Originally from Anxi in Fujian Province, Tieguanyin remains one of China’s most treasured oolong teas. Yet finding truly organic Tieguanyin has become increasingly difficult, as many farms in the region now rely on intensive agricultural methods.
This tea comes from an organic tea garden in San Mi, approximately 250 kilometers inland from Anxi, on mountainous land at around 500 meters above sea level.
Far from large industrial centers, this garden focuses on sustainable cultivation and traditional tea craftsmanship, producing tea with remarkable clarity, softness, and integrity.
How It Is Made
Tieguanyin is crafted through a meticulous partial oxidation process, placing it beautifully between green and black tea.
After harvest, the leaves are gently withered and lightly oxidized to preserve their floral brightness and fresh green character.
Unlike darker roasted oolongs, this modern-style Tieguanyin undergoes lighter oxidation, resulting in a tea that feels more vibrant, buttery, and aromatic.
The leaves are then carefully rolled, helping them slowly unfurl during steeping and release their layered flavours infusion after infusion.
This lighter approach allows the tea’s floral sweetness, creamy texture, and natural freshness to shine fully.
Nothing feels forced.
Only balanced.
Taste Profile
Organic Tieguanyin creates a tea experience that feels floral, buttery, and beautifully alive.
Aroma
Fresh orchids, spring flowers, and soft green sweetness.

A tea shaped by devotion, patience, and mountain air.
Organic Pu Er Tea
Not all teas are meant to be bright or delicate.
Some are meant to ground you.
Organic Pu Er Tea is one of them.
Deep, earthy, and quietly complex, Pu Er is a tea shaped by time and transformation. Made in Yunnan Province, China, it undergoes fermentation—a process that gives it its distinctive richness, smooth body, and unmistakable character.
The result is a tea that feels different from the first sip. Warm, woody, and mellow, with a depth that settles rather than stimulates.
This is not a tea you rush through.
It is a tea you sit with.
Origin
True Pu Er tea can only come from Yunnan Province, China, where this style of fermented tea has been produced for centuries.
While fermented teas exist in many parts of the world, only tea grown and processed in Yunnan is called Pu Er, much as Champagne must come from Champagne, France.
Yunnan’s unique landscape—ancient tea trees, mineral-rich soil, and a humid, misty climate—creates the perfect conditions for producing tea with depth, smoothness, and aging potential.
It is a place where tea is not just grown but shaped by its environment.
How It Is Made
Pu Er begins with tea leaves processed in a manner similar to that of green tea.
Then comes the step that changes everything.
Through fermentation, the leaves are transformed—developing darker colour, smoother texture, and a deeper, more rounded flavour. This process reduces bitterness and brings forward the earthy, woody notes that define Pu Er.
Unlike most teas, Pu Er continues to evolve. With proper storage, it can age, soften, and develop even greater complexity.
This is a tea that is not fixed.
It changes.
And that is part of its appeal.
Taste Profile
Organic Pu Er creates a tea experience that feels rich, grounding, and deeply satisfying.
Aroma
Warm earth, aged wood, and soft mineral notes.
Flavour
Smooth, full-bodied with earthy richness, gentle depth, and a mellow, rounded character.
Finish
Clean, warm, and lingering with a calming, steady aftertaste.
This is not a tea that surprises.
It is a tea that settles.
Brewing Guide
Recommended Preparation
- Tea: 3g / 1 tbsp
- Water: 240ml / 1 cup
- Temperature: 100°C / 212°F
- Steep Time: 3–4 minutes
- Infusions: Multiple steeps recommended
Pu Er opens gradually over several infusions, revealing softer, smoother layers with each steep.
Best enjoyed plain, where its natural depth can be fully appreciated.
Why Tea Lovers Choose Pu Er
People return to Organic Pu Er because it offers something few teas do—balance.

Whether you are new to Pu Er or have been drinking it for years, it remains a tea that grows on you.
Slowly. Quietly.
Earthy. Smooth. Enduring.

Organic Morimachi Genmaicha
Some teas wake you up.
Some help you exhale.
Organic Morimachi Genmaicha does both.
Comforting, toasty, and beautifully balanced, this traditional Japanese green tea blends bright steamed Sencha with roasted rice to create a cup that feels warm, familiar, and quietly restorative. It is the kind of tea that feels like coming home—simple, grounding, and deeply satisfying.
Each sip carries the freshness of green tea softened by the nutty warmth of roasted rice, creating a flavour that is both soothing and gently invigorating. It is smooth enough for slow mornings, calming enough for quiet evenings, and comforting enough to become part of your daily rhythm.
This is not a dramatic tea.
It is a dependable one.
And often, that matters more.
Origin & History
This batch of Organic Morimachi Genmaicha comes from the foothills of Mount Fuji, Japan, a region celebrated for its clean mountain air, fertile soil, and ideal growing conditions for exceptional green tea.
The cooler climate and mineral-rich landscape help create tea leaves with clarity, freshness, and gentle sweetness—qualities that make this Genmaicha especially smooth and balanced.
Traditionally, Genmaicha was created by blending roasted rice with lower-grade Sencha to soften bitterness and make the tea more accessible.
But this tea follows a different philosophy.
Here, the Sencha is already delicious on its own.
It is blended not to hide imperfections, but because high-quality Genmaicha—when made well—is something truly special.
The roasted rice is not a compromise.
It is part of artistry.
How It Is Made
The foundation of this tea is premium steamed Sencha, one of Japan’s most beloved green teas.
Shortly after harvest, the tea leaves are gently steamed to preserve their vibrant green colour, fresh aroma, and soft vegetal sweetness. This traditional Japanese process creates the bright, clean character that Sencha is known for.
The tea is then carefully blended with roasted rice, which adds warmth, softness, and the signature nutty aroma that makes Genmaicha so comforting.
As the rice toasts, it develops a rich, popcorn-like fragrance, transforming the tea into something both familiar and unique.
The result is a tea that balances freshness and warmth—green tea with soul.

Organic Sencha Seijaku (Pure Tranquility)
A classic reimagined for quiet moments.
Organic Sencha Seijaku is a pure Japanese green tea that celebrates simplicity, clarity, and calm. Bright, grassy, and beautifully refreshing, this premium Sencha is crafted for slow mornings, mindful afternoons, and peaceful daily rituals.
Steamed, rolled, and dried with care, this vibrant loose-leaf tea offers a clean, balanced cup with gentle umami, fresh vegetal sweetness, and a smooth finish that lingers softly with every sip. It is a tea that invites stillness—simple, elegant, and deeply grounding.
Origin
This premium Sencha is made from the renowned Yabukita cultivar, Japan’s most beloved tea cultivar, originally developed by tea pioneer Sugiyama Hikosaburo.
Highly valued for its versatility and beautifully balanced flavour, Yabukita produces a smooth and harmonious cup with the perfect balance of freshness, sweetness, and umami.
The tea itself is a thoughtful blend of two exceptional Japanese growing regions:
Shizuoka
Known for bright, grassy, and vibrant top notes, Shizuoka brings freshness and lively green character to the cup.
Kagoshima
Famous for deeper umami, softness, and natural sweetness, Kagoshima adds body and roundness to the tea.
Together, these two regional harvests create a Sencha that feels both refreshing and deeply satisfying.
How It Is Made
Unlike many Chinese green teas that are pan-fired, Japanese Sencha is traditionally steamed shortly after harvest to preserve its bright green colour, fresh aroma, and signature ocean-kissed flavour.
This tea is processed using Asamushi, or “light steaming,” where the leaves are gently steamed for only 25–30 seconds.
This lighter steaming method helps preserve clarity, brightness, and leaf integrity, creating a cleaner, more delicate cup with vibrant grassy notes and a smooth finish.
After steaming, the leaves are carefully rolled and dried, locking in freshness while preserving the leaf's elegant structure.
The result is a refined green tea that feels pure, crisp, and naturally calming.

Organic English Breakfast Tea
A breakfast classic with deep roots and timeless character.
Organic English Breakfast Tea is a smooth, full-bodied blend crafted from two Chinese tea traditions—a toasty Wuyi Oolong and a Hunan-grown, Keemun-style black tea. Rich, balanced, and beautifully versatile, this blend offers far more than a standard breakfast tea. It delivers warmth, depth, and a story in every cup.
Before Indian tea became widespread across Europe, many British tea drinkers enjoyed Chinese teas like these—smooth black teas with body and complexity, often layered with the roasted warmth of traditional oolongs. This blend captures that older style of breakfast tea: hearty, elegant, and deeply satisfying.
The smooth Keemun-style black tea brings body and richness, while the roasted Wuyi Oolong adds soft caramel notes and a gentle toasted finish, pairing beautifully with milk or lemon, or enjoyed simply on its own.
Comforting, refined, and endlessly drinkable, this is your everyday classic, made better.
Origin
This blend begins with a premium Hunan-grown, Keemun-style black tea, chosen for its smooth texture, rich body, and naturally refined finish.
To add greater complexity, it is paired with a carefully selected Wuyi Oolong, sourced from the legendary Wuyi Mountains—one of China’s most respected tea-growing regions, famous for producing aromatic teas with roasted warmth and layered depth.
These two timeless Chinese teas are then thoughtfully blended in Richmond, BC, ensuring freshness, consistency, and the perfect balance between bold breakfast tea strength and smooth caramel complexity.
The result is a breakfast tea that feels both familiar and quietly luxurious.
How It Is Made
The Hunan-grown black tea is fully oxidized to develop its deep amber colour, smooth body, and rich breakfast tea character.
The Wuyi Oolong is partially oxidized and traditionally roasted, creating its signature toasted warmth and soft caramel finish.
These two teas are carefully blended in Richmond, BC, to create a breakfast tea with greater depth, balance, and versatility than traditional single-origin breakfast blends.
Unlike overly sharp breakfast teas, this blend offers structure without harshness—strong enough for milk, smooth enough to enjoy on its own.
It is a breakfast tea designed not just for routine, but for enjoyment.

Organic Dazhang Mountain (Dazhangshan) Green Tea
Some teas demand attention.
Others invite you to slow down and listen.
Organic Dazhang Mountain Green Tea belongs to the latter.
Inspired by the quiet beauty of mist-covered mountain landscapes, this elegant pan-fired green tea offers a refreshing balance of grassy freshness, gentle sweetness, and soft nutty undertones. Every cup feels clean, vibrant, and deeply calming—like a cool breeze moving through mountain forests after spring rain.
The flavour is refined rather than forceful. Fresh green notes arrive first, followed by subtle nuttiness, with a smooth finish that lingers softly on the palate.
It is a tea that rewards patience.
A tea for quiet mornings, focused afternoons, and moments when simplicity feels like luxury.
Origin
This batch is organically cultivated in the rolling hills of Central Hunan Province, China, where fertile soils, mountain air, and a favourable growing climate help produce teas with exceptional clarity and balance.
Named after the spirit of Dazhang Mountain (Dazhangshan), this tea reflects the qualities often associated with high-elevation Chinese green teas—purity, freshness, and elegant structure.
The slower growth conditions found in these mountain environments allow the leaves to develop greater sweetness and complexity while maintaining a remarkably smooth character.
The result is a tea that feels both vibrant and composed.
How It Is Made
Organic Dazhang Mountain Green Tea is crafted using the traditional Chao Qing (炒青) pan-firing method, one of China's oldest and most respected green tea processing techniques.
Fresh leaves are carefully heated in large pans shortly after harvest, preventing oxidation while preserving their bright colour and natural flavour.
This tea can be considered a more premium expression of traditional Chao Qing. The carefully selected leaves produce a gentler, softer cup with less astringency and greater refinement than everyday pan-fired green teas.
The pan-firing also introduces subtle nutty undertones that beautifully complement the tea's fresh vegetal character.
Simple craftsmanship.
Exceptional results.

Organic Yunnan Gold (Dian Hong Golden Monkey)
Some black teas are bold.
Others are elegant.
Organic Yunnan Gold somehow manages to be both.
Crafted from beautiful golden-tipped leaves grown high in the mountains, this tea brews into a cup that feels rich yet remarkably smooth, naturally sweet, softly layered, and comforting from the very first sip.
Notes of roasted sweet potato rise gently from the cup, followed by warm malt, soft cocoa, and a mellow sweetness that lingers without heaviness. There is depth here, but no sharpness: strength, but no bitterness.
It is the kind of tea that feels luxurious without trying too hard.
A quiet kind of luxury.
Origin
This tea is grown in the legendary Yellow Mountain (黄山) region of Anhui Province, China, an area celebrated for producing some of the country’s most respected teas.
Although the cultivar itself is native to Yunnan, it is cultivated here at elevations above 2000 meters, where cooler temperatures and mountain mist allow the leaves to grow slowly and develop exceptional sweetness and complexity.
High-elevation tea often carries a different kind of character—cleaner, softer, and more layered.
You can taste that altitude in this tea.
The result is a beautifully refined Dian Hong-style black tea with remarkable smoothness and golden richness.
How It Is Made
Organic Yunnan Gold is crafted using carefully selected leaves rich in golden buds, prized for their softness, sweetness, and elegant texture.
After harvest, the leaves are gently withered, rolled, and fully oxidized to develop their deep amber liquor and layered flavour profile.
The high concentration of golden buds contributes to the tea’s natural sweetness and smooth finish, while careful drying preserves its warm roasted notes and soft complexity.
Unlike stronger breakfast-style black teas, Yunnan Gold focuses on balance.
It is rich without becoming heavy.
Sweet without needing anything added.
And smooth enough to drink slowly.
