Origin

This exceptional tea is grown in the famous Yellow Mountain (黄山) region of Anhui Province, China, one of the country's most respected tea-growing areas and home to some of China’s finest traditional teas.

The tea garden sits at an altitude of more than 1200 metres above sea level, where cooler temperatures, mountain mist, and mineral-rich soil create ideal conditions for slow leaf growth and concentrated flavour development.

This high-elevation environment allows the tea leaves to develop greater sweetness, smoother texture, and the elegant complexity that defines premium Keemun.

Keemun Maofeng is crafted using traditional black tea processing methods that highlight softness and complexity rather than strength alone.

Tender young leaves are carefully harvested and withered to reduce moisture before being gently rolled to release their natural oils and flavour compounds.

The leaves are then fully oxidized, allowing them to develop their deep amber colour, smooth body, and the signature layered flavour Keemun is known for—soft fruit notes, subtle floral undertones, and a naturally elegant finish.

Finally, the tea is slowly dried to preserve balance and structure without creating harshness.
